Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for operating, setting up, and monitoring lithographic printing machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality printed materials in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operating a two-color machine, guillotine machine and plate making. Training of subordinates. Page making. Operating lithographic printing machines according to approved production specifications and schedules. Setting up printing machines and adjust paper feed, ink, registration, impression, and other operating settings to achieve the required print quality. Monitoring the printing process to ensure consistent quality, accurate registration, correct colour reproduction, and minimal wastage.
At least a Certificate in Lithographic Printing Technology. Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience operating lithographic printing machines.
Required Skills
Troubleshooting skills. Paying attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills.
